How it works

Three simple steps. No complex setup, no financial advisors, no hidden fees.

1

The employer activates the pool

HR sets up the InTurn pool with one simple structure: a fixed contribution amount per paycheck and a defined participant group. No complex customization. Clear from day one.

2

Everyone contributes the same amount

Each participant contributes a fixed amount — for example, $50 per paycheck. Contributions are consistent and transparent. Everyone knows the numbers.

3

Members receive their turn

At regular intervals, one participant receives the full pooled amount. The order is predefined and visible to all. When your turn comes, you receive the payout. No loans, no interest, no applications. Just structure. Just community.

The numbers tell the story

$5,000

Cost of financial stress per employee, per year

Lost productivity, absenteeism, and turnover. Financial stress doesn't stay at home.

47%

Would switch jobs for emergency fund access

Nearly half of employees say they'd leave for an employer that offers financial safety nets.

0

Peer-to-peer workplace funds that exist today

Corporate charity funds exist. Individual savings apps exist. A true coworker-powered safety net? That's InTurn.

100%

Voluntary. Transparent. Stigma-free.

No one is forced to contribute. Everyone can see the fund balance. Requesting help is private and dignified.

Our Inspiration

Born from a city that shows up

Minneapolis, MN

Our founder lives in Minneapolis. In January 2026, federal immigration enforcement operations created chaos and fear across the Twin Cities. Families were uncertain. Neighbors were scared. The community faced a crisis no one had prepared for.

But something remarkable happened. People showed up for each other. Neighbors checked on each other — not just friends, but people they'd barely spoken to before. Families helped families navigate resources. Communities organized to make sure no one was left isolated or without support. In the middle of uncertainty, people chose solidarity.

That spirit stuck with our founder. Not as a one-time crisis response, but as a model for everyday life. When things get hard, people instinctively want to take care of each other. What if that same energy existed in the workplace? What if coworkers had a simple, structured way to have each other's backs — not just during moments of crisis, but during car repairs, medical bills, and all the everyday moments life throws at you?

That's InTurn. The same community care that brought Minneapolis together, built into the rhythm of the workplace. One team, one pool, everyone's turn.
